Why organic records are voided, not deleted

Made a mistake? Void the record with a reason — it stays in your history.

Certified organic operations must keep records for 5 years (7 CFR 205.103), and inspectors look for changes that can't be explained. So when the organic module is on, ProvenFarm won't delete an organic record less than 5 years old.

Open the record and choose Void.
Give a short reason, like "entered twice".

The record disappears from everyday lists and totals, but it stays in Reports → Voided Records with who voided it, when and why.
