Do I lose data if I change plans?
Never. Plans only turn features on and off. Upgrade from Stand to Organic and every flock, sale, receipt and batch from day one is still there.
Does ProvenFarm certify my farm?
No. ProvenFarm organizes records, documents and traceability. Certification determinations are made by your certifying organization.
Can my inspector log in?
On Organic and Compliance+, invite your inspector for time-limited, read-only access to records you mark Inspector or Public.
Do I need a card to start?
No. ProvenFarm Free is free forever for very small homesteads, and paid plans start with a trial.
Is there a referral offer?
Yes: give a month, get a month. A farmer who signs up with your link (Settings → Plan) gets 30 extra free days, and when they start a paid plan you get a month free. Up to 12 a year.
Is the community free?
Yes. Every plan, including Free, can use the map, join group chats, message farms and post listings. Core and above add unlimited listings, saved-search alerts and record-backed listings.
How do alerts reach me?
Choose phone notifications, or email right away or as a daily summary, for each kind of alert. Everything also appears under the bell in the app.
Why is Compliance+ "Talk to us"?
Farms with several certifications need their programs mapped and their records brought in. We do that with you on a call, then quote a price for your operation. Everything in Organic is self-serve.
Is my location private?
Your farm appears on the map only if you turn it on, and only as an approximate area (about half a mile). Your address is never shown.
What does yearly billing save?
Paying yearly costs 10 months' price for 12 months, so you get 2 months free on any paid plan.
