Fraud prevention plan and supplier risk

The written plan SOE requires, with a risk rating and certificate check for each supplier.

Since Strengthening Organic Enforcement, every certified operation needs a written fraud prevention plan: where fraud could get in, how you prevent and catch it, and what you do if something looks wrong.

  1. Organic → Fraud prevention plan. Write down your risks, how you prevent and catch fraud, and what you'd do.
  2. Rate each supplier. High-risk ones — organic feed, seed, animals you buy in — get their certificate checked in the Organic Integrity Database.
  3. Review it once a year and record who reviewed it and when.
