Automatic “sold out” and “back in stock” updates
Your stand page says when something sells out and when it's back, switches to SOLD OUT when everything's gone, and can email or text subscribers when you restock.
It works from any sale or restock: the POS, the honor box on a customer's phone, pickup orders, the honor box check, your egg log or a harvest.
- A product runs out → your stand page posts "Eggs — sold out for now."
- Everything on your stand page is gone → the stand switches to SOLD OUT.
- You restock → it posts "Eggs — back in stock! 12 dozen available.", takes the sold-out post down, and switches the stand back to OPEN.
- Each product gets at most one sold-out and one back-in-stock post every 6 hours.
- Open Farmstand → Automatic stock updates to turn each part on or off.
- Under Tell subscribers when something's back, choose email, or email and text.
- When something's sold out, it's listed under Sold out right now. Type how many you're putting out and tap Restock.
If you set the stand's status yourself (say, CLOSED for the day), ProvenFarm won't change it. Subscribers get at most one back-in-stock message every 12 hours, and texts count toward your 4 a month.
