Weather and frost alerts
The forecast on your dashboard, and a heads-up on your phone before frost, freezing nights and severe weather.
- On the dashboard, find the Weather card. If it asks for a location, tap Set location (your stand's map pin is used if you have one).
- Tap the gear to change where your fields are, when a night counts as frost (34°F is a good start; 36°F for low spots and tender crops), or turn alerts off.
- The card shows the next four days, with frost nights marked, and official warnings from the National Weather Service.
- Below that: what to do, for what you farm: cover crops, check waterers and tank heaters, bring eggs in from the stand. Maple farms also see good sap-run days.
- Frost, freeze and severe-weather alerts come to your phone in the early afternoon, with time to act. Each night or warning alerts only once.
- Choose how they reach you in Settings → Notifications → Frost, freeze & severe weather.
Forecasts come from the National Weather Service, so they cover US farms only.
